What do you mean "completely different email"
I was always taught, just changing the number on the end, for example. was completely different!
Is this not the case with your system?

now completely changed email password on main account and secondary account and waited more than an hour and done virus scans - still not working 😞
yes it's all rubbish what they tell you, the moderator posting 2hrs ago is beyond unhelpful
