Problem accessing email to verify virgin media

I’ve been trying to access my virgin media account and get in but it says I have to verify email.   My logon is the account name@virginmedia.com but I’m unable to get into this.  However if I access my main non virgin email account there is no verification link there either.  I’m therefore stuck as to what to do and don’t want to sit for an hour on the phone for what I’m hoping is a simple solution.

I'm sorry you're having some problems verifying your email address.

 

Have you just recently set this up?

 

Can you confirm that you've followed the below steps: 

 

  • Sign in to My Virgin Media
  • Click on My Profile at the top of the page
  • Under the Contact Details section, click Change next to the contact email address and update accordingly
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your new address to verif

Have you checked the spam folders?
