All of a sudden i cannot send emails via outlook. I have checked all the settings and made sure the password is correct but it keeps asking me to submit the password. I have looked on forums and found multiple threads but none of these have worked.
I get emails in just cannot send out. I have also created my account in the mail app and this also does not send nor does outlook on my phone so it cannot be outlook software itself can it?
If you successful authenticated yourself to the SMTP server you will see something similar to:

however if not you will see: ⋮ < 535 5.7.8 Authentication Credentials Invalid (VM300) * Closing connection 0 curl: (67) Login denied What VM code do you see; in the example above it is VM300? Please do not be tempted to post more than the requested curl output as you will likely reveal your email address and password."
On your phone does this happen on both wireless and mobile data ?

I have a similar problem, but mostly it is Outlook sometimes not receiving emails, in that when send/receive is initiated, sometimes it works fine. But other times it asks for the email password, even though that is already stored or the send/receive just times out. Occasionally it fails immediately with an "unidentified error". I have updated my Outlook to Outlook 2010 (I was on an old version), but this makes no difference, so I begin to suspect it isn't Outlook. My wife uses a different email programme and she has started to get very slow responses when she tries to download emails. I have also noticed some downloads of other files (so not from my ISP) can stop in mid download. I begin to suspect the router or the Virgin broadband. I have a Hub 3.0 router with wifi via a TP-Link Mesh system usng Deco M9 Plus (which up to now has worked really well). Is anybody aware of intermittent issues with the router or broadband connection that could affect email send/receive?

Also i turn the wifi off of my phone and the email was sent.
I was running 2010 but i have just installed 2019 and it still happening but i deleted my account out of outlook before uninstalling it but left my wifes in. When i installed office 2019 my wife email instantly came up (as would expect but mine did not) and not cannot add my because the smtp failure.
Would you like me to test this with my wife email as well as both do not work?
