Outlook error 80040102 for blueyonder account

Yesterday windows did update (not sure if this is related).

Had blueyonder account for donkeys years. Worked fine but today outlook gives error 0x80040102 when doing send/receive.

Have checked and reentered all server settings for smtp and pop3. Outlook reports account repaired fine yet it still comes up with this error.

Email still works fine on phone but that uses Imap I believe.

Any idea what this error code is complaining of and how to fix?

Using Office 365 and it is up to date with valid subscription.

Might be the update. Go to Start and select Restart. Once back up search for Windows updates via Settings/update and security / Windows updates and make sure everything is up to date.

This could be the early sign of the email account being closed. Apparently the web and IMAP access don't always close together. Is the email account currently attached to a Virginmedia broadband account?  If not I suggest you use the IMAP access to save any important data to a local backup.
