Outlook email issues

I have Outlook 365 and my email is with another provider - not Virgin. I can receive emails into Outlook but cannot send any.  I do not have a Virgin Email - don't want one nor need one.  The settings Virgin sent me do not work.  Any suggestions?  Also, how does the Virgin email work if I have my emails from another supplier?  Thanks

Hello

If it is another email provider then would it not be best to contact them, VM can tell you settings for a virginmedia account, but other providers you would need to search on google for them.

Also have a look at https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/Outgoing-Authentication-Issues-Check-Email-Logs/td-p/3237... to find what the actual error is while trying to connect to the  outgoing email server.

Can you tell us the bit after the @ and I will have a look for you.
