Ages ago when we first got cable broadband with NTL before Virgin Media took them over, I had an old @ntlworld.com email address. I fear this may have been lost in time, but I was wondering if there was any way of getting access to it again?
Did you have time away from VM - or move house? That is often when they can be deleted, if a Move and Transfer is not completed. And if it was a secondary address, then they can be deleted after a period of non-use. Something like 150 days IIRC. The same goes for primary addresses - the mailbox is deleted, but it carries on as the log-in username only.
I've never moved, either physically or away from NTL/Virgin for internet. I just stopped using it - I think it was about the time Hotmail came out and I just found webmail easier - and then Gmail happened and it seemed like old fashioned email that you needed Outlook Express for was old news. I never really thought about my old ntlworld.com address until the other day.
The Forum Team can check the exact status of your ntlworld.com address, as they are VM employees with access to the records. If you wait here (it may be a few days) they will take your personal details by private message and have a look to put your mind at rest.
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our forums page.
I would love to take a look into this further for you. To be able to do this, @MissPasko was right and I will need some further information from you so I'll drop you a PM asking for the details I would need. If you can reply to that message, I will be more than happy to help.
