Old Blueyonder email

I can no longer access my blueyonder email and it's causing me a great deal of stress. I would like to know if it's been closed by Virgin Media or it's been hacked. I can no longer access Facebook or Instagram or other things associated with this account. If I had received a bit of notice in the form of an email or message I could have sorted it, but now I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?

It's four years since I was with Virgin Media but I didn't realise the email belonged to them, I thought it was mine so I just carried on using it.

Re: Old Blueyonder email

Unfortunately it could be either of those causes.

Long shot: have you tried the forgotten password route to see if you can get back into the account?

As you are no longer a customer the VM Forum Team are generally only able to ensure the account is fully deleted from the VM systems.

They will respond here in a day or so with the options available.

Re: Old Blueyonder email

Hi smf69,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

I'm very sorry to hear about what has happened. As advised by Graham_A at this point we would only be able to confirm if the email is address is deleted.

Is this something you would like to proceed with?

Re: Old Blueyonder email

Hi Martin

Yes it would be helpful if I knew the blueyonder email was cancelled. Not ideal as I was hoping I could change the password and get back my Facebook account but at least I won't waste anymore time trying to access it.

Thanks

Sheila

Okay, what I will do is private message you to get some information so we can look into this.

Re: Old Blueyonder email

Hi Sheila,

Everything should now be sorted as per my interaction with Keith, however I'd advocate moving everything over to a new email as it's no longer attached to a Virgin Media account

Kind regards,
