Ntlworld email suddenly stopped working

I've not been able to access me ntlworld email since Friday? Either on my computer of through my mobile. I've not changed any settings or passwords etc.

I went to the virginemedia.com site and tried to log in, most of the time I get the 

"Your mailbox is not available at the moment.

Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices."

message.

I can still get emails on another ntlworld email, hence I can access these boards.

I've tried a few things on these boards but still nothing.

I was hoping for a quicker reply than this, three days of lost emails is getting critical!

it takes VM staff about 7 days to reply. this is not a direct 1 on 1 support channel to VM

but the first question. Are you still a VM customer

Did you setup the email address on your current account or an old one. Have you had a break in service?
Is the email address listed in our MyVirginMeida?

Its one I've had for many years and its always worked fine.

Friday it suddenly stopped working on both my phone and computer, without ever changing anything.

I can log into it via Virginmedia, and even change password, etc but can't see any emails in there, nor receive any on any other device, it keeps saying 'Account error' or asks for the password again ... even though i know its correct. ?

i just tried to log in to read the exact message and its working ! 3 days of emails in one go ! ? 🙂

if its not linked to a current VM account it can be deleted at any time. Any email account not linked to a active account should be deleted 90 days after the account is closed. If its not it can be deleted at any time when the system notices.

You need to make sure it get linked to your account if you want to keep it
