Ntl World

I've recently bought a new laptop and transferring everything over.

I can't remember my Ntl World email password so want to reset it.

Anyone got any ideas if how to do this?

No the link provided didn't really help as it doesn't explain how to change NTL World passwords.

If you select the option on the link provided for 'Forgot Virgin Media password' it tells you how to reset the password.  This applies to all the VM domains including ntlworld.com.  You will need your Virgin Media broadband account details to hand in order to complete the process.

I'm no longer a Virgin Media customer so don't have an account number etc.

Unfortunately when you cease to be a Virgin Media broadband customer all email accounts provided by Virgin Media, including ntlword ones, get closed as well.  This should happen 90 days after closing the broadband account but some continue on in an 'orphaned' state for months often years.  As they are not linked to a broadband account there is no way of accessing the system to reset passwords.

Generally the only help that VM Forum Staff can offer in such circumstances is to ensure the email address is fully deleted from their systems. @Hayley_S should be able to check the exact status of the address concerned and advise you further.
