No emails in folders

All the emails in my folders going back years have disappeared, all folders are empty. How do I get these back?  Lots of important stuff in there

If you have been using an email app, log into your webmail account with a browser and check all the folders there including junk/deleted etc.

If the emails are not visible there online, they have been deleted. Hopefully you will have kept backups of important documents.
