I haven't been able to access my emails on my laptop for weeks now. Can you please tell me how I sort this out.

How are you accessing emails it is via webmail https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/email/mailbox or using a 3rd party tool like outlook, thunderbird etc.
Do you get any error messages, if so what are they ?

I'm trying to access it via the virgin media website, my emails. I get a message 400 bad request. That link you've given me works on my phone but not on my laptop.

Consider either use your web browser's privacy / incognito mode (by pressing either Ctrl + Shift + N or Ctrl + Shift + P) or clear cached data and cookies set by Virgin Media.
