NTLWorld email hacked

Hi my NTL world email address has been hacked and the password has been changed by the hacker. I tried to reset the password but I get an error message when I type in the email address saying 'Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media'. This NTL world email that has been hacked is not the one we use to sign in to My Virgin Media but I need to regain access to it, please help me reset the password
