NTL World email address stopped working

My email address stopped working on 28th March. I haven’t been a Virgin customer since September 2018, are they deleting accounts?



Yes they are. According to the Ts & Cs, your email account and mailbox should have been deleted some three months after you left, but sometimes, this doesn't happen on schedule and they 'linger on' working but always prone to being deleted without further notice. 

Recently VM seem to have become more 'aggressive' in finding these orphaned mailboxes, not attached to a live broadband account and shutting them down.

Welcome to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

With regards to email accounts if you leave your Virgin contract any emails associated with the account will cancel usually after 90 days but on occasion can take longer to close off, all of this can be found within our Terms and Conditions here.
