Well i can say is Thank you Virgin media for closing my account without any warning. Your incompetence has cost me my business and my holiday! Apparently ntlworld emails are being faded out, but not with any warnings, just stopped. All your life is in those emails and all the unhelpful staff at Virgin can say is i understand. NO! you have no idea . You read from your little scripts with no concern for your customers at all. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. You have showed no respect whatso ever. Im now unable to get any of my holiday emails to go away , but that's ok you understand. Ive lost business but that's ok you understand. The worst company i have ever had to deal with. Those top nob bosses sitting in their little world handing out all these silly rules.
I have had this too. And after 4 hours on the phone to them it seems it’s tough **bleep** in us! They have discontinued ntlworld accounts but chose not to tell us. I have pleaded with them today as I have holiday tickets to sort for next week but they don’t care just saying we understand. Apparently no chance of retrieving. I’m devasted and disgusted
Well whoever told you that ntlworld.com addresses are being phased out, was, basically lying, because it just isn’t true.
However, what is true is, that the long term survival of any VM branded email addresses is somewhat up in the air!
But in your case, can I take it that you are a current VM broadband customer, any break in service since you first signed up and setup the address? Any change of address in that time?
Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, really sorry to hear you do not have access to your NTL Email and that there are important Emails such as Holiday tickets, we are not aware of the emails being phased out however if you do not have an active Virgin Media account then you should lose access after 90 days.
Do you still have an active Virgin Media account and is it the one associated with the Email address in question?
