I have been on this system for years now, and something has gone wrong with my original password. When I try to access the webmail I get a message asking me to provide credentials. I seem to have messed up the password for my old ntlworld address but don't remember what it was and can't find the way to put it right. Help, please!

If your email address is linked to a current Virginmedia broadband account, you can log into that account and reset the email password. 

If it's not linked to a broadband account, the email account will have been closed in accordance with the conditions in the original email agreement.

I can't remember the password for my old ntlworld account and keep being asked to enter credentials for my incoming server settings. How can I get this sorted out?

Try the forgotten password route:

Enter the Ntlworld email address concerned where it asks for your My VM username.
