Mailbox unavailable

Since friday I have been unable to access my secondary email account on my Virginmedia account. 

Having spoken to live chat, twitter and telephone support, I've been pointed to these forums. 

I receive the mailbox unavailable on VM Webmail. It looks as though I'm not the only one with this issue. 

Is anyone able to assist as this is my primary email address for everything.
