Mailbox unavailable

This is similar many other posts - I can't access my mailbox from the VM website - have tried for days (ie not an Outlook problem I think.) VM hopeless at responding. Can anyone help with suggestions or flagging it up with Virgin for me - they will probably take more notice of you than me.

What error message are you seeing when trying to access web mail? And a second question. Are you a VM paying broadband customer?

'Your mailbox is not available at the moment. Please retry again in one hour...' etc.

Yes - I am a VM  paying broadband customer.

Go to My Virginmedia (which will work with your email address and password) and change the password for the account. The wait here for a VM staff member to assist you with unlocking the mailbox They are usually pretty quick.

Hi. I changed my VM password earlier and that didn't help. I've just done it again and am waiting. How does a staff member contact me as I can't access the emails?
