Lost email access to one account but not all

Evening.

I appear to have lost access to one of my email accounts, but still have access to the others.

I have attempted the following:

  • Changed password
  • Attempted access using my android mobile and my windows desktop
  • Used a new email client, but it could not access my account

I can login using windows, but when I hit Email, I just get a message saying "your mailbox is not available at the moment".

 

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. As you would expect, I don't have access to correspondence.

It is likely that your email account has been locked for security reasons.

If you haven't already done so follow the instructions here:

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-mail-my-email-account-is-locked

If that doesn't work then post back here and the VM Forum Team should be able to help you.

Hi Graham_A,

Thank you for the response.

I would assume that the instructions you sent would only work if I could get into my mailbox for the inaccessible account, which I can't. However I did try with an account I can get access to and followed the instructions and could see nothing being forwarded.

As the password change has not unlocked the email account you will need to wait for the VM Forum Team to reach this thread. It will take them a day or so to get here.
