For the second tine in a week I have been locked out of VM emails using my blueyonder account. The first time it happened I tried to sign in but got the message “Your Virgin Media Mail account is currently unavailable. This is because your Virgin Media Account is locked, or because you don’t have an account with us anymore. Follow these steps etc . …………….”
I followed various sets of instructions found on the forum but they didn’t work. Through trial and error I somehow managed to regain access.
Now just a week later I cannot access email again. Monday pm. Just a blank page saying FORBIDDEN across the top. Any help would be appreciated.
I should add that in resolving the problem last week I used a third party email address and new password to access my account. Now I can't get to a login page. I've tried following the original instructions above to see it that would work. Got to "Virgin Media Mail Settings" clicked that then got this message......
Oops, looks like something's gone wrong on our side.
Please try again
Try again
This is beyond frustrating.

I have the same problem with a secondary account (ntlworld.com) my wife uses. It has now been down for over two weeks and this is unacceptable, and definitely the problem is not resolved. I have spoken to the 'Helpdesk ?' on several occasions, even been escalated up the chain' but no one is able to reset her password. All they seem to be able to do is generate a fault ticket. I now have two.
I have tried all the suggestions from the community and the helpdesk but nothing works. The helpdesk originally said they had reset the password but that didn't work, now they are saying that they cannot even reset the password.

Here'e what I have done to restore the service. After the first time I was locked out I received this advice
Which didn't work. Tried it this time and it has worked. Make sure you leave it a while before you try and log in again.
Hope this helps

This will not work for me because the email in question is a secondary one and does not have a separate myvirginmedia login so I cannot login with that email address to reset the password (it is a ntlworld.com address), if I try to login to myvirginmedia (as apposed to a straight login into the email account) it does not recognise the email address even though if I phone customer services they can see the email account in question on my account. They have also failed to reset the password. I will try them again tomorrow.

I've now found out that secondary email accounts do have a separate MyVM account now but when I try to access my wife's account I'm told the password is incorrect. I tried my other secondary email account and used the same password as I use to login to the that email account on third party apps and that works.
