Legacy ntlworld email under attack, needs deleting asap

I have an old legacy ntlworld email address that seems to be used to try and access/hack accounts (tinder and Verizon so far today. I havent been a customer for a while but the email has remained active. . I just want to delete the email address to put an end to my nightmare. I hope someone can help me
