any help want to change my email password but keep getting this error when trying to sign in to mail on line

I would suggest that you use this link https://virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media to enter your VM email address and then when prompted enter the current password to sign into its"My Virgin Media account ".   (Note that link is not the same as the one used to open the webmail account for that email address. Every VM email account has a "My Virgin Media" account linked to it and that is what you will be accessing from that link.)

Once signed in, click on the "Update settings" tab and then the "Account details" tab.  Scroll down that page and you will see you have the option to "Edit" (that is "change") your password.

If you cannot do that or if you still cannot access the email account after resetting the password then one of the Forum Team (VM employees who support this forum) will be able to check this out for you. One of the team will contact you via this thread in the next day or so.

I should just add though that if you do not have a VM broadband account the team will be more limited in the help they can give you.
