Important mail marked as spam

Hello all,

I'm having an issue with mail from my website being marked as spam.

No matter how many times I mark the mails as not spam, they still go into the spam folder and I have to move them.

I have tried setting up filter rules but nothing works.

The site is www.angel-dust.co.uk  & shop.angel-dust.co.uk.

Mails begin with either "new order" or are notifications.

Nothing seems to work.

I've tried setting subject to include "new order alone, with added from ...

Or 'from rules alone

Or  subject "includes "

Am I doing something wrong or would I be better  just changing to Gmail or diverting through there?

Thanks.

Re: Important mail marked as spam

Filter rules run after spam filtering and only on those emails delivered to the Inbox folder; webmail's default SPAM Settings result in latter never occurring for misidentified spam. Either:

  • wait 24 hours to see if the false positive clears and if it persist post back here to have the issue flagged to the forum team
  • select ☰ > Settings > ▸ Emails > SPAM Settings > Flag a message as SPAM but deliver to Inbox and create filter rules to manage emails with the (flagged) subject prefix of <SPAM>
  • find an email service that better meets your needs with security that is equal to or greater than the service it might help secure

Re: Important mail marked as spam

Thanks for that, did the trick perfectly.

Still being marked as spam but at least now they're coming through.

Much appreciated 🙂
