How do I stop a trusted email going into the spam folder on my Ntlworld email that I get on-line.

I have an ntlworld email address which my husband mainly uses.  We get this on-line.

I frequently forward him things from my gmail account.  They ALWAYS went into his 'inbox' until about 6 months ago when they started going into the Spam folder.  Even though each individual email can be marked as 'not spam', and the gmail address is in the address book, nonetheless they still continue go into the spam folder.  This is most annoying as he misses urgent things I send him unless I tell him in person to check the spam folder.

Ask him to sign into webmail and then check ☰ > Settings > Email > Blacklist for your email address in case it has been included.

Re: How do I stop a trusted email going into the spam folder on my Ntlworld email that I get on-line.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!  It worked.  There was my address on the Blacklist.  I deleted it and now I can send messages again to my husband.

That was a most useful answer.  I am most grateful as this has been causing us problems for a long time!

Re: How do I stop a trusted email going into the spam folder on my Ntlworld email that I get on-line.

I have 2 email address that go direct to my spam.  I have checked that they are not on my Blacklist and they are not on my list.

I know i can look at my spam mail and if it is not spam i can click to say its not spam.  then it goes into my inbox.   But i have to do this every time.

i hope this makes sense & anyone who can help most appreciated.

Re: How do I stop a trusted email going into the spam folder on my Ntlworld email that I get on-line.

The same thing happened to me.  From advice I was given, I signed into my  webmail and then checked ☰ > Settings > Email > Blacklist for your email address in case it has been included.   And there it was--somehow the wrong address had ended up on my Blacklist.

I removed it from the Blacklist and from then on the email no longer went into the spam folder but into the inbox.

Hope this works for you.  Good luck

Eleanor

Sorry-just re-read and see that you said that you had checked your blacklist for them, so what I suggested will not work. Apologies.

Re: How do I stop a trusted email going into the spam folder on my Ntlworld email that I get on-line.

In webmail:

  • select the message incorrectly identified as spam
  • select (shown within the displayed message) and then View source
  • either visual locate or user browser's find function (Ctrl + F) to look for lines beginning with X-Spam and post them here; though there should be no need to redact if in doubt do so

Re: How do I stop all email going into the spam folder.

Hi

All my emails are going into the spam folder despite mark as spam and deliver to inbox in settings ticked . It does not matter what you do with the filters ie turn on or off all my emails are going into the spam folder

As suggest in your post to search for X- and post to you

Kind regards PRL
