How do I delete old ntlworld email address

I have not had a Virgin Media account for over 18 months but still have an old ntlworld email address.

I want to delete this account as it only receives spam/junk.

I understood this should have been deleted within 90 days of closing my Virgin Account.

Why has this not happened?

Re: How do I delete old ntlworld email address

The process that VM use to inactivate and then delete mail accounts of former customers often fails to complete. The VM staff here can help get this rectified for you. Wait here for them to respond in this thread. You will need to be patient. Up to a week to get a response.

Re: How do I delete old ntlworld email address

Thanks for joining me on PM @Les53

I've raised this with IT for the email to be deleted. Your reference is P010358959. Their timescales are 3-5 working days

Re: How do I delete old ntlworld email address

Hi John

I'm still waiting for the email address to be deleted.  This is a very disappointing level of service.

Can you please get someone tin IT to do this as I am getting fed up with the amount of spam/junk etc. being sent to me.

Regards

Les

Re: How do I delete old ntlworld email address

What is the problem?

This email is still active despite numerous promises to delete it.  I am getting tired of apologies and telling me that it has been "escalated".

Your idea of as soon as possible is somewhat different go mine!!

I am still receiving numerous amount of spam and junk intro this  account.  Please delete as I have not been a Virgin Media Customer for nearly 2 years.
