How do I delete legacy virgin media mail accounts

I scroll to the bottom of "My Profile" page and there are listed a few "Virgin Media Mail" addresses and alternate email addresses. But these are not listed under manage accounts (we still have all nine available) so we cannot delete them.

Really want to delete these old email addresses because they became so full of spam etc.

Any help much appreciated.

Re: How do I delete legacy virgin media mail accounts

They will be aliases of your main email address which I guess is a blueyonder one.

These alias addresses share the same mailbox as the parent account as well as the same password.  They cannot be deleted without deleting the parent account.

As the parent account is your primary username it cannot be deleted.

If you stop checking the email address it will eventually get suspended and the mailbox closed after 150 days.  The email address would then only work as your sign in user name.

You would need to set up a new third party email address as your correspondence address for Virgin Media account purposes eg receiving your bill advice email.

I am a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work.

As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.
