Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

I had a string of posts, including private messages, using the username vm01pws. I have tried to log back into that account to respond to the latest private message but the credentials no longer give me access.

The point of the posts was to try to deal with a hacked virgin.net email address which I can no longer access. Despite being inactive (from me) since last autumn, the address still seems to be active because test emails I send to it from another address are not returned as undeliverable.

Can someone from Virgin *please* contact me so that this can be resolved? Thanks.

Sorry to see you've been having issues with the former E-Mail accout, I'd be happy to assist you further

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

Thanks David.

I can't find a PM from you, but there are two from Martin_N who is also looking into this. Any help you can give would be very much appreciated. How can I access your PM? I could then also send you further information.

Thanks,

vm02pws

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

Thanks for coming back to me vm01pws

As Martin is working on this for you, it would be best for me to step aside

All the best

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

@David_Bn

The poster in this thread appears to be using two different Community accounts vm01pws and vm02pws.

Looking at the posting history the interaction with Martin appears to be back in November 2019

Maybe the Moderators need to sort out the community Accounts to avoid further confusion.

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

Thanks Graham and David.

Yes, I had to attempt a second registration as I was temporarily unable to log in as vm01pws. That is now fixed and I should be happy to abandon vm02pws and just deal with my original login ID.

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

Also may be worth noting that it was Jody who was dealing with this in November 2019, followed by Natlie earlier this year. Martin has kindly picked it up this week after a long delay which I explained in my PM to him.

Re: Help to delete a hacked virgin.net email address

Will do. Thanks for your offer of support though. When I couldn't log in I was concerned that my original ID had been deleted as the last posts were so long ago. That's all fixed now and I'll abandon the second ID (but wont delete it as they seem to be linked and I don't want to make things any worse!).
