Hacked email

Hi,

I left Virginmedia a couple of years ago but my email account remained active and has now been hacked. I've also had the threatening emails others have mentioned and need to get the account deleted. How can I go about this please?

I've had the same issue did post on forum last night but no one has picked it up really need this sorted ASAP
