Can you check whether you can send ntlworld emails from the email app on your iPhone when you connect using your mobile data service rather than your VirginMedia wifi?
If you can send when connected using mobile data but not your VM wifi that suggests that VM have blocked VM emails from being sent from the IP address of your home because it has been flagged up as a source of spam. There is no suggestion that you personally are sending spam. The likelihood is that a smart device on your home network has been infected with Malware and that is responsible for the suspicious traffic from your home network.
You can check whether the independent organisation "Spamhaus" have flagged your IP as a source of spam by:
Your IP address will be listed on the PBL (Policy Block List) and be flagged up as an advisory but that is to be expected and is not the reason you cannot send emails from your email apps.
However, post back if Spamhaus reports that the IP address is listed on any other blocklists, such as Spamhaus' Exploits Block List (XBL) for example.
