Emails - arghhhhh

My emails were working fine and now they’ve stopped working ? I haven’t changed a thing on the settings but haven’t received anything for 2 days. Can’t send emails and can’t receive any either. Why is this happening when I’ve not changed anything !!? Someone please help !

 

”email me when someone replies” yeah that’s a joke I can’t see any emails !!!

What happens if you try to access the email account directly in VM webmail?

First the outage and now this with no warning or help from VM. Considering leaving now as this happens too often - would anyone care at VM ? I doubt it

As the message states your mailbox may have been locked by the VM security team.  In most cases changing the password to one not previously used should unlock the account. It can take up to an hour to unlock.

Each email address now has its own My VM account

Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.

Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Account Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

all working now - why don’t VM actually do something to help people in these cases ? If you’re older and not as savvy online what chance have they got of sorting it out ?
