Emails are wrongly marked as Spam and are blocked by Virginmedia

Hi Team!

I see some legit emails are wrongly blocked as SPAM. Is there a way to contact Virginmedia Postmaster?

Probably our IPs are new to the system and that caused some greylisting.

I'll be happy to provide more details if you can tell me how to do that.

Many thanks,

Oleksii

I am not a Virgin Media employee but from that error message I don't think it is your IP addresses or greylisting that is the reason VM are rejecting your emails. The "message contains spam" error strongly suggests that the spam score VM has calculated for those messages is over the limit that the VM mail exchangers consider acceptable.

For example, that could be down to the existence of a "suspicious" url in your outgoing message which is something you might check on. If there is a url in all those messages then try sending a test email without that url.

However, I have escalated your post to the Forum Team (VM employees who support this forum) and one of them will be contacting you via this thread in the next day or so. They will take any necessary details via the forum's Private Message (PM) facility and pass this on the relevant VM technical team.
