I am trying to change my email password ,when I go through the steps to get it change I am told the email has been sento reset but email does not arrive, checked trash, inbox and spam,can anybody help

Is it the password for your Virgin Media email account that you are trying to change or the password for an email account with another email service?
If it is a VM email account, then as far as I am aware VM's password reset process through your "My Virgin Media" account or via the "Forgot your password" route does not involve a "password reset email" reset email as such.
When you change the password VM just send an email to the email account advising that the password has been changed, as below:
If you are trying to change the password for an email account from another provider it would be useful to know which one, for example, Outlook.com or Sky.com. (Don't post your full email address just the part after the @ symbol.)
