Could anyone tell me how I delete an ex's email off my account please.

                                                   Many thanks.

There are 2 possibilities:

  1. If the "My Virgin Media" account that you signed in to is the one that allows you to view your VM bill then it suggests that your ex wife's VM email account is not linked to your current VM account. Perhaps it was part of an earlier VM broadband account that you had?
  2. If you cannot see your VM bill displayed in the "My Virgin Media" account that you signed in to then your account is not the Primary Account for your broadband package.

Either way the Forum Team (VM employees who support this forum) should be able to check this out.

One of them will contact you via this thread in the next day or so. They will take the details using the forum's Private Message facility

If you are the Primary Account holder and the email account you wish to delete is a Secondary VM email account on your VM account you should be able to delete that account by:

  • Signing into your "My Virgin Media" account using your email VM email address via this link https://my.virginmedia.com/home/signIn
  • Then clicking on "Update settings",  then  "Account details"
  • Scroll down the Account settings page to "Manage other Virgin Media accounts".
  • Click on that and you should see a list of all secondary email accounts with a link to allow you to delete the email account.

Bear in mind that, although there is a big "Create new account" button at the bottom of that page, VM no longer allows customers to create new VM email accounts. They do allow you to create new secondary "My Virgin Media" accounts but you need to specify a non VM email address to do that.
