Email won’t unlock

My email (virginmedia.com) stopped working on Thursday morning and I’ve rang virginmedia 4 times to unlock and they have changed my password each time but it is not working. I can’t change it myself as I’m unable to on my account (it doesn’t give me the option and says sorry your mailbox is not available right now and to check back in an hour. I really need to receive some important emails. Can my email be reset or something? Thank you

You don't need access to VM webmail to change the email account password.  This is done via the My Virgin Media profile page.  Instructions set out here:

Thank you for replying. That’s where I’ve tried but it only gives me the option to change my log in password to my virgin media account not my email password. There is no edit button on my email unfortunately. Am I changing my main log in then? Thank you

Once logged in go to "my apps" top of page, that opens anoher page and select Virgin Media Email, once there select "get more addresses" and select the email you are trying to edit.

Tried this and it’s not there. Thank you. I don’t know why vm can’t just unlock my account. This is what I was shown

@ALYJORDAN  Based on those screen shots it looks as if there is a more fundamental issue with your account.

I will escalate this thread to the VM Forum Team for further support.  They should respond here tomorrow.
