Email unavailable

Can't log into my email, I ain't been on it a while I just wondered if its been compromised. All I get is:

Your mailbox is not available at the moment.

Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices.

I've searched an seems to happen to alot of people

Could be due to a number of different things.

Are you a current VM broadband account customer?

This is a requirement for continued use of a VM email address.

If you haven't accessed the email address in the last 150 days the mailbox may have been closed by VM as per their T&Cs.

The VM Forum Team staff should be able to help investigate what has actually occurred when they reach this thread in a day or so.

Can I please when was the last time you accessed the email account and how?

Was it by webmail or though a client

Years ago I think I just don't use it but rather it be on safe hands, I changed the contact email to a different one but it wouldn't delete the main one would it.

Just to put your mind at rest 

This email account has been closed since 2013 due to lack of use

You can always register a new email account should you wish to do so
