Email unavailable - issue with generate app password

I had a message that my email was unavailable and my outlook on my phone linked to my virgin medial email suddenly did not accept the password.

After 2 online chats and one phone call to VM I now have my email back via logging onto my virgin media online but despite changing the password to the 4 work generated password it won't accept it.  This means I can't access emails easily on my phone as the My Virgin Media app does not have a link to emails.

Any suggestions?

In order to get the Outlook app to accept the new generated app password you will need to delete the email account concerned from the Outlook app and then add it back in again with the new password.
