Email receives but not sending on iPad

I received a letter from VM a about a potential security threat on my blueyonder email about a week after my account was stopped and I have since then repeatedly had to change my password. Now I can receive but not send on iPhone but account will not set up at all on iPad. VM call centre staff about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Apple support spent over an hour with me and tell me it’s deffo VM causing the issue. I cannot call again as my nerves can’t take it.......any ideas.....anyone...

It sounds like the same issue a few of us of had recently, there’s something infected with a spambot, that is sending low levels of spam from your IP address, on your home network possibly.  Check your IP address on spamhaus, if it is listed there you need to follow Ravenstar68 info on spambots..
