I've searched for previous remedies but can't find anything so here goes. My Blueyonder email suddenly disappeared from my iPhone and iPad. I did what I always do when it's happened before: delete the account and reload. Then it wouldn't recognise my password, saying 'no password provided, return to mail settings and enter a password'. All was OK temporarily as I could access via webmail...then that failed too. I managed to find what appeared to be a fix by changing password and signing it but that only opened my wife's email address which I now can't get out of! To top that it appears that the Blueyonder account is preventing me from emailing using my iCloud account on my iMac, with an 'enter your Blueyonder' password appearing. Any ideas? I'm becoming very frustrated. I have completed a full virus scan which found 8 'possible' malware issues which have been removed.

Just to deal with one thing at a time. That sounds as if you are just closing the browser window when you come out of her webmail account. That leaves her webmail session still open which is why it's coming up again every time you try to sign in.
The way to close down her session is to "sign out" via the settings (cog wheel) icon. Follow steps 1 and 2 below:
Once you have signed out of her webmail account you can try signing into yours again to check whether you can open your webmail account or whether that comes with an error.
As an aside, do you still have a VM broadband account and is your Blueyonder account linked to it?

Thanks for the reply and yes, I am still a VM Broadband customer…since I transferred from Telewest so a loooong time. I have signed out of My Virgin Media and when I re-enter my password I get the usual ‘Hi Keith’. I then click the email box and it opens with her page. If I try to ‘add email’ it won’t let me because my password comes up as invalid. It all stems from that password which I haven’t found a way to reset, if I try on iPad or iPhone it asks me to scan a code and enter a security key but goes no further. If I try on my iMac it will only open my wife’s account.

The first thing is when your are in your wife's email account, don't use that "Add email" button. What that does is simply allow your wife to pick up your mails in her account.
To keep it simple. let's just to concentrate on your email account for the moment Try this link which should take you straight to the email account itself without going via your "My Virgin Media" Account. https://mail2.virginmedia.com/
Just enter your email address in to that page and then, when prompted, enter your email address.
See how you go with that.

Thank you, brilliant! That worked and has solved the immediate problem that i can now access my webmail. Am I pushing it to ask how to attach that account to my Apple Mail? To save you looking back, when I attempt it I have the ‘no password’ message.

Well, waddya know! I managed to log in, then successfully change my password (which I couldn’t do before) and have now even been able to add the account to Apple Mail. Thanks so much for your help, greatly appreciated and problem solved.

That's good to hear. Glad you managed to sort it out for yourself. If you come up against any other issues feel free to post again.
