Email hacked

My virginmedia email account has been hacked, tried to change but because I set up new account when restarting virginmedia again I can’t get into my virginmedia to change pass word  tried sorting with customer services still struggling I have had instagram, Spotify and linked in hacked via email account no help from customer service as can’t reset old password for my old virginmedia email account. 
please help
