Email hacked

Hi, 

my Email was hacked, I received emails from myself saying they wanted money via bitcoin. 
they managed to lock me out of my Facebook account & tried other social media accounts. 
I have changed my Virgin media password, please could you confirm that my email is no longer at risk?

The same has happened to me. I changed my password on one device but it wouldn't let me change it on my phone so now locked out of my emails and I can't seem to find the 'forgotten my password' link. Also locked out of FB.

Did you follow all the advice given here, My Virgin media email has been hacked | Virgin Media Help?

In addition do the following in webmail:

• select ⚙ > Security
• set Automatic sign out to 5 minutes
• wait 5 minutes for automatic sign out to occur
• sign back in and set Automatic sign out to previous value
  
  FYI: this is a workaround to try and sign out of other webmail sessions
