Email hacked

Hi, overnight my ntlworld.com account had somebody hack into it and i lost access, i've reset it now with new password so got my emails back . i had received an email saying i changed my password at 4.54 this morning but name on email was not mine. I checked through my details and nothing seems changed , what's my best source of action ?

Also sign into My Virgin Media | Virgin Media and select Update settings > Account details and confirm details under Contact details are correct.
