Email hacked

My email has been hacked. I cannot log into my account because the security questions have been changed. 
Is it possible for my account to be frozen and new details posted to me?

@Durrant11  Welcome to the VM Forum community, sorry that a possible hacking attempt has raised your suspicions.

Can you confirm that you have a current VM broadband account and that the email address concerned is part of that account?

Yes I do have VM broadband. When I have tried to reset my password using my email address it asks for security questions- but the answer must have been changed, so I  unable to reset my password.
