Email content not or very slow loading

I note your post on fault log F010322217

I seem to be experiencing email content not loading.

I am accessing via iPad, it loads mail subject etc, but when selecting the email it simply sits spinning saying ‘loading content’ … not all emails but seems to be those with images/pictures/links. Simple text messages are instantly visible.

Hi Donn1don,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

I am sorry to hear of the issues you have been faced with here. Is it possible if you could provide us on which device you're using to do this? Is it on all or just one? As you can appreciate we need the information to determine how we can move to help with this. Do you get the exact same error as the original poster etc?

Cheers,

Ryan.

Hello,

Im using an IPhone with the latest update. The problem is on all of the emails that involve images to load. It just says loading and nothing happens, it just sits there whirling around. And it only really started after I did the last eat update.  If I forward the email on to an address that isn’t virgin the images then do load.

To troubleshoot issue try temporarily disabling the following option Settings > Mail > Privacy Protection > Protect Mail Activity and also disable Hide IP Address. Reload Mail app and see if problem still occurs. If problem no longer occurs then consider contacting Apple Support to troubleshoot the issue further. Restore  Settings > Mail > Privacy Protection > Protect Mail Activity setting.

Hi @Donn1don thanks for your reply, sorry that you're having problems with this.

Can you please confirm if this happens when you're on WiFi, or mobile data or does this happen on both, can you test this please?
Many thanks

Tom_W

Hello,

It is over Wi-Fi and mobile data that it happens.

Donna

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the email.

When you load this in another browser do you get the same issue?

Are you still having the same issue?

How many browser windows do you have open? ^Chris.
