Email address still operating despite account ceased in 2016

Like many people, the recent VM email problems have shown that although my account was deleted a long time ago (2016), the email address associated with the old account is still operating. Could someone from the the VM team contact me please to have this sorted.

Sorry to hear of the email account issues experienced, we understand the frustration and you taking the time to raise this via the forums. Welcome to the community.

Are you looking to have the email address completely deleted? Usually 90 days after the disconnection of service the email address should have ceased, obviously doesn't seem to be the case in this instance.
