hello - earlier today my outgoing emails started being blocked, with the message that my email address was suddenly "inactive".
When I closed down webmail and reopened it, to try resolve this, I got the message: "Your mailbox is not available at the moment."
I've been getting that message for about five hours now.
My mailbox became "not available" last week, too. Per advice, I changed my password. Coincidentally or otherwise, my mailbox became "available" shortly thereafter.
What is going on, and what do I do this time?
"5 days to resolve" – wow.
was any explanation given as to what the problem is, and why on Earth it would take so long to fix?
are there are VM moderators on here who can answer?
any chance VM might post something official and helpful?

I am sorry to hear you were impacted by the email issue. I have been advised that this has now been resolved. Please can you advise if your email address is now working correctly for you?

In the end it was down for about 18 hours.
Do you know if this is part of a more general fix in the works, Lee? Mine's still out of action.
Left it 10 minutes between reset per your colleagues instructions and checking and that seems to have fixed it.
