Email Problem sign in

I cant acesss my emails this message keeps coming up.

I have retyped the password numerous times but to no avail.

I am using Outlook 365 - windows 10

Anyone help please?

Is the ntlworld email address concerned correctly linked to your current Virgin Media broadband account?

If so the first thing I would try is changing the password for the account and then try again with Outlook 365 using the new password.

Sign in to My Virgin Media, go to My Profile and/or Manage Accounts depending on whether the account concerned is your primary account or an additional one. Select the account concerned and then click on Change to the right of password if a primary account or View/Change then change to the right of password for secondary accounts.

I have tried that but no change.

since posting in the 1st instance it appears the email started working again for whatever reason, however then stops working again when I tried to send another email.

Can you still send via VM webmail? https://mail2.virginmedia.com/

Sending issues from email clients can sometimes be down to your external ip address being on the spamhaus CSS list.  Is there an option in Outlook 365 to turn on logging?  If so it would be helpful to get the VMxxx error code from the logs.

Thanks for your help Graham.

I tried a whole host of things deleted and setup my email account and the whole thing turned round where I could send but not recieve.

 

I cut my lossess and reinstalled outlook and it all seems to be working again
