I used to have an email inbox removed which I had for around 20 Years.
When I try to open it now it says Your mailbox is not available at the moment.
Can you advise please?

Are you a current VM broadband customer?

I don't think that is related to my issue but thank anyway. I suspect my mailbox has been deleted because I used it with my old account.
It was transferred after to my new account but for some reason after two years was removed, probably by a mistake from the IT team.
when I try to logon with this account its saying you have left us and your inbox is not active any more.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with accessing your email address.
Based on the error message you have posted, it's sounds as though you are no longer a Virgin Media broadband customer. Can you please advise if this is the case?

Thank you for the reply.
That is not the case. I am still a Virginmedia customer but under another account.
However when I switched over my inbox was supposed to be transferred to my virgin account but I guess that never happened.
