E-mail down...AGAIN!!! (and accounts log in..)

As title...

From around 9pm Saturday, trying to log in to VM e-mail via the homepage, my.virginmedia.com'gives the 

'were making some essential changes' if your e-mail ends in'......'

When you then click on the correct address, you get the now familiar 

'This site can’t be reached

mail.ntlworld.com refused to connect.'

So. tried using the 'my.virginmedia.com' and same result...

Tried using the e-mail login on the forum homepage too, same results..

Tried to log into account....same problem.

Cleared all caches and cookies, restarted machine...same result...

Tried on another laptop....same result...

Being a Sunday, don't suppose there's any hope of anything even being acknowledged before a week goes by,, (as per the wait for any sort of replies here)

meanwhile, back in the REAL world, life goes on, whilst in the parallel universe that is Virgin, nothing is wrong...

Hello

For email https://mail2.virginmedia.com/appsuite should take you straight to login into the email system.

The rest of the virginmedia site is down for maintenance and I expect should be back in the morning.

The links are still not working this morning. Thank you for posting a link that does work but why can't Virgin do that?

EXACTLY, A REALLY helpful post, but why do we have to tare our hair out for 3 hours before we blunder by pure dumb luck on a post with this solution ?

Others have already commented about your unwelcome habit of jumping into threads that are unrelated to your issue.  The current fault is nothing to do with the 403 Forbidden message that you are experiencing and for which you have had a ticket already raised by first line support. That is why the VM staff have probably not responded because they are busy helping people who have not had help. The 403 error takes time to resolve.

As for the ability of VIPs to refer issues to VM direct, We have earned that privilege by offering consistent, accurate and quick advice to other VM users for which we have received VIP recognition from VM. We use that privilege with discretion.
