We have the same problem and have been trying since Thursday to get Virgin to engage. Absolutely no help at all and nearly three hours on the phone. Terrible service. Can anyone kindly help as to how one sorts an inbox that keeps emptying itself basically every 12 hours?
Go to iOSSettings -> Accounts & Passwords -> your email account -> Advanced -> Incoming settings →Various options including - DeleteInbox incoming email after 1 day/week/month/Neveretc, just choose Never.Safest thing is always to delete/tidy-upemails via the server and allow IMAP to sync content with other devices.
I tried on a iPhone 7 and daughter on a iPhone 11 ... these instructions we were unable to complete
Most odd. Opening up your iPhone email app has obviously triggered a sync between the iPhone and the VM server. That suggests it is the phone driving the delete process. Please confirm which app/IOS version the phone is using.
I now can’t find the source of the “Delete Inbox incoming email after 1 day/week/month/Never” which I quoted. I’ll have another look in the morning.
