Deleting old virgin.net email account

Hi. I am looking to delete an old virgin.net account. I have tried via virginmedia account but no joy as the virgin.net accounts are not visible on there. Is anyone from Virginmedia able to help please?

We can certainly support further with this. Just to confirm, the email is not linked or registered to any online account or services which needs the email active at all, such as a Virgin Media online account?

Hello. I don't think so. The virgin.net account was set up before getting an ntlworld.com email address when we started subscribing to virgin media. So I don't think the two are linked.
