Deleting old ntlworld email when still have VM provider

can you let me know how to delete my old ntlworld email address please? We still have  virginmedia as our broadband provider and have a new virginmedia address.

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, if the Email address is the primary one unfortunately this cannot be deleted, if you don't us this you can change the password ETC and set up a forwarding so any emails go to the one you use.
